Arrows was the flagship restaurant of James Beard Award Winning Chefs, Mark Gaier and Clark Frasier. The Arrows legacy of high standards, top quality ingredients and creative innovation lives within all of Mark and Clark’s current day ventures.
Awarded "Best Chef's in the Northeast" by the James Beard Foundation, Mark and Clark have also created restaurants, MC Perkins Cove, Summer Winter and M.C. Spiedo where they continue their tradition of innovation and excellence. Arrows was a true country restaurant in the tradition of the French Michelin 3 Star destinations. At Arrows the old world traditions were celebrated: prosciuttos and charcuterie were created on premise, fish of all types prepared in the onsite smoke house, breads and pastries created by a master pastry chef. Cheeses were taken from curd to finished product in the kitchen and mushrooms, cranberries and fiddleheads foraged from the surrounding woodlands.
Named 14th in "America's Top 50 Restaurants 2006" by Gourmet Magazine, as well as being chosen as "One of America's 10 Most Romantic Restaurants" by Bon Appetit.
